Content Permission Management

We are always interested in seeing how people use EasyRef in architectural design. At times, we may want to share certain content to inspire other users. In those cases, we will contact the original poster (which may be you) to request permission. If you agree to allow EasyRef to repost your content (materials, references, comments, or related information), simply reply with #ShareEasyRef under the original request. When possible, we will include your EasyRef page link when sharing your content. You retain full ownership of any content you publish or share through EasyRef, including references, materials, videos, and comments.

About Copyright

Copyright grants creators of original works (such as books, music, or artworks) a set of exclusive rights. These typically include rights to reproduce, publicly display or perform, distribute, and create derivative works (with variations by jurisdiction). Copyright does not protect facts or ideas, but it does protect the original expression of ideas—such as text or images.

Ownership of Copyright

Copyright is usually owned by the person who created the work. In some cases, such as employer-created or contractor-created works, the owner may be another party. The original owner may also transfer ownership to others. Note that possessing a physical copy of a work does not mean you own the copyright. For example, owning a set of old photographs does not necessarily grant you the copyright to them.

Copyright Infringement

As a material network service provider, EasyRef does not have sufficient ability to monitor illegal reproduction or piracy. However, when the copyright owner files an infringement claim and provides sufficient copyright proof, EasyRef is obligated to remove pirated and illegally reproduced works and stop further distribution. After taking such removal measures under these conditions, EasyRef shall not bear any breach of contract or other legal liability to the original uploader, including compensation for damages caused if the infringement claim is unfounded.

If a copyright holder believes their work is being infringed, they should promptly notify EasyRef. Please ensure that all information submitted is true and accurate. Submitting a false infringement notice may result in legal liability.

Required materials for submitting a copyright notice:

• Proof of ownership: copyright certificates, evidence of first publication, original manuscript drafts, timestamps issued by authorized institutions, registration documents, etc.
• Evidence of infringement: description of infringing actions, explanation of similarity between the content and the original work, etc.
• Accurate information about the infringing content: title, URL, and specific position on the page.
• Rights holder information: For individuals: full name, ID or passport copy, contact information, address. For organizations: company name, business license copy, contact information, and an official authorization letter.
• A signed statement confirming that the provided information is true, legal, and valid. Individuals must sign personally; organizations must provide an official seal.

After completing the materials, please fax or mail them to us. Once received, EasyRef will remove or disable access to the infringing content as required by law. If the materials are incomplete, EasyRef may request additional documentation. If you discover infringement, false information, or errors on our site, please contact us and we will address the issue promptly.

Articles published on EasyRef's platforms belong to EasyRef. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited, and malicious infringement will lead to legal action.

EasyRef retains the rights to its tagging methods, categorization system, and algorithms.

Copyright Removal Requests

Only the copyright owner or an authorized representative may submit a content removal request. Before submitting, ensure that you are indeed the copyright holder.

Trademark Claim Policy

Copyright and trademarks are distinct types of intellectual property. Trademarks protect brand names and logos to prevent consumer confusion about the source of goods or services.

Counter-Notification

If an original uploader believes their content was wrongly removed, they may submit a counter-notice. Upon verification, EasyRef will restore the content.

Using Images on EasyRef

Except in special cases, EasyRef is not the copyright holder of user-uploaded content. Before using any content, you must obtain permission from the copyright holder. All materials on the site are uploaded by users and are only for learning and reference. They must not be used for commercial purposes; otherwise, all consequences must be borne by the user.
